Aloha, I'm Ki, and I like pina coladas, and gettin' caught in the rain...well, actually, I like Jack and ginger if you're buying, but I'm fine with getting caught in the rain; part and package of loving thunderstorms. I am, in no particular order, a retail wench, a cocktail fiend, a slave to tea, a fan, a reader, a writer and the kind of girl who can't stand children but goes gooey at the sight of a kitten.

Among those brave and darling people who are my friends, I am known to be impulsive, neurotic and just a tad insane. I have a wardrobe full of dodgy fashion choices, a rickety car known as the Hulk (it's a lean green driving machine, don'tcha know?), and an ever-expanding collection of random junk. The landing in my flat is lined with books to the extent that sunlight has to sulk outside the window.

My home away from London is a village just east of Northampton that has shades of Royston Vasey about it, though I myself can't claim any webbed fingers or intimate carnal knowledge of my cousins. I can't say the same for others there, alas. I live in a flat in Golders Green with a man who works for a tabloid newspaper and thus is not to be trusted with any secrets.

I work as low-level management for a well-known UK retailer. (Not just any retailer either...) If you find yourself in a North London shopping centre arguing with a blond woman about your refund, that's probably me. Please be nice. You're much more likely to get what you want.

In my free time, I write. I have a love of mythology and ancient cultures, ranging from Greek heroes to Celtic faeries to ancient Egypt.

My fandoms are L. J. Smith, Tamora Pierce, Harry Potter and Obernewtyn. I am a fan of Firefly, Scrubs, Amelie, The Outer Limits, Frasier, Coupling, Doctor Who and several others. Music is my crack: I'll listen ot just about anything, but my heart belongs to Sarah McLachlan, Imogen Heap, Tom McRae and the Goo Goo Dolls.
