Summary:Illusions.

They surrounded Elise Seille, they made up her world; the Nightworld's semblance of life, the cunning web they wound around humans, her own invulnerability. All these she did her best to dispel one way or another, through deed and word.

Part of a duo of bounty hunters, she played the snare for a dozen petty Nightworld denizens: thinking of herself of the hunter, it never occurred to her that she might become prey.
