This is the bit of the site where I put bits and pieces that (for one reason or another) never made into the writing. Some hint at alternative endings, others at alternative beginnings. So - on with the show.
This removed scene from Chimera was written way before the main storyline came along. Back when I intended Chimera to be, oh, fifteen parts long (I kid you not), the ending - and Blue's character - really wound up rather different.
It would have fitted into the epilogue, and some elements of it remain similar. It was scrapped and vastly rewritten after an excellent critique by Sylvia.
Dragonlore is a story that existed before Chimera ever came along, but has a significant tie-in to it. This story is set in England, based on a remark that some made to me once - that there are markedly few UK-based Nightworld stories.
Events here centre around Kheo Rastaban's awakening in Wales, and the events that take place before he heads to Ryars Valley in Haloed. Some of the characters from Strange Lullaby also rear their heads and those with sharp eyes will recognise various links between the stories.
