Currently, I am writing the prologue, which begins with Blue Malefici's descent into a dark and strange place to make a decision that no Fury before him has ever made.

Kheo's awakening has been felt by the remainder of the Five: Ryar ap Sangager, dragon princess, was the woman he once loved, for whom he began a war. Loving him, fearing him, she is no longer sure what he feels for her - it was she who betrayed him above all others.

Bhari's sly heart has been tempered by Chatoya Irkil's endless fight against the violence and darkness that threatens to overwhlem her, yet she was closest to Kheo of all the Five, his greatest ally and closest confidante: now her loyalties are torn once more and with one of her strongest ties to the Five severed, the outcome is uncertain.
