Darkstar was my fourth fanfiction, and was written quite shortly after Heartsong. Despite being a later piece of writing, it and its predecessor - Trifolia - are the weakest of the series, to my mind. Due to this, I learned the most from the many mistakes I made, and it will be a vastly different story once rewritten. Still - it was a fun piece of writing that kept me occupied over a cold Christmas.

Summary: With her dying words her sister gave Zara the only clues she had to finding out who had killed the last of her family, two words that meant nothing and everything.
